Well, we had a somewhat nice morning on Memorial Day but it was quickly turning nasty so we loaded up the kids and drove over to Tetonia to Cache-Clawson cemetery where Janie Jo is buried. We go every year and take pictures of the kids as they have grown. This year Justin told us a few stories about Janie and how he used to tease her when she was little. It was fun to hear and great for my kids, especially Janie. She was very interested in hearing about her aunt who she is named after. After seeing her interest I realized that Justin needs to share more, as he remembers, so that Janie can learn more about her namesake and the wonderful person that she was!

That is so neat for Janie to have a namesake. Great Memorial Day pictures!
Hey Rachel! I didn't know you had a blog! Very cute...your baby is sure growing!!
I always think about Janie...I have her little oh...I can't remember what they're called, her paper from her funeral, in my scrapbook stash of things to keep.
The good ol' days of riding the bus, and doing flips between the seats with her, getting up early and carpooling for cheer tryouts with her and Glen. She was so fun! I remember that morning of the accident, she had called to see if I had wanted to go school shopping...I do miss her, and think of her often!
oh, that post is making me tear up. how wonderful to have such a great namesake. I love you guys!
I agree! We need to hear more stories of Janie. I'm forgetting them already! I think of her everyday! I really miss that girl.
That is wonderful and those pictures are soo cute. Especially the one of Janie. I just can't believe how much your Janie looks like Janie did. Red hair and all. She was a year older than me and past away on my birthday. We drove by her grave when we went to Tetonia last week too. What a cute post, and I agree stories would be soo great for Janie.
