Justin's Christmas Present

You can't get a good look at the size of the claws unless you click on the picture. But they are huge! I would have hated to be Timothy Treadwell!
I finally had one surprise that wasn't spoiled this year. Justin shot a brown bear a year ago last October and my dad is an amazing taxidermist so he rugged it out for us. My dad finished it just in time to send it down to me. Sarah picked it up in Idaho Falls and kept it at her house until I could get it without Justin knowing. We hid it in the house for a couple of days and then I put it out on the floor early Christmas morning. It turned out beautiful, the coloring is amazing and my dad did a great job, as usual, on the mount. The wall isn't quite tall enough to hang it the way Justin wanted to but it will do for now. On the opposite wall is where his black bear is hanging.

What a fun surprise! I bet Justin really loved it. I like the picture of Jack with the claw. Your bed is gorgeous! Way to go Justin. Your cake turned out beautiful for his parent's anniversary. You are so talented! And congrats on your new calling. You'll do great!

I enlarged that picture, those claws are enormous. And there was also a cute boy in the picture too!
Sorry I didn't get to talk to you on Sunday, but it was nice to see you!

Wow! That is impressive! It scared me a little. I am so amazed by your cake- I wish you lived closer to me so I could hire you to amp up my poor kids' lame birthdays. I am glad you had a good Christmas and the bed turned out beautifully!
