Reid was baptized on April 8th, 2011 by his father, Justin Nelson. We had a lovely time, although Grandma and Grandpa Neilson weren't able to make we had lots of family there. Grandpa and Grandma Nelson were there along with lots of the Nelson relatives. Sarah and Eric were also there with their girls and Meg made the trip up with her boys. Grandpa and Grandma Neilson were supposed to be the speakers but because they were stuck in Cordova Mom and Janie got the privilege of speaking. Janie did an awesome job!! Things were pretty simple and then after we headed home for a big dinner of ham and cheesy potatoes with rolls and yummy chocolate cupcakes for dessert. Reid wanted a bear rug cake for his birthday so Mom and Dad spent a lot of time trying to get the bear head right. Reid is an amazing boy and we tease that he will someday be the prophet. He is always doing what is right and keeps Mom and Dad in line! :) We love you Reid Preston.
Our family lives in the small town of Victor, Idaho. It sits at the base of the Teton Mtns. My husband, Justin, was raised in this valley and brought me here 10 years ago. Now our children will say they were born and raised in Teton Valley. We were married in December of '98 and moved here soon after. We have four children. Janie is 9, Reid is 7, Jack is 4, and Lucas is 2. We own our own business called JRN Contracting, we are a for hire dump truck operation. Justin also farms. We love the simple life and love living in the country.
