Yet another year of winter sports and the kids chose ice skating. It has been so fun! Janie was a pro when we started because this is her third year but Reid was just learning. He picked it up quick and had a great time. The best part is that they have a new rink and they rent skates so I was able to go every time but the first and ice skate with the kids. It was sooooo fun! We had a great time. I have to say that the most fun we had was the last day, I was planning to go with the kids as usual and had Sarah tending the little boys. Justin happened to be home that day and was going to come watch. We convinced him to get some skates and skate with us. I don't think I have laughed that hard it a while. I think I had a six pack after we were done from all the laughing. It was so funny to see Justin off balance and learning to skate. I think he maybe skated once when he was little but that was it. He did really well, considering but he had his fair share of falls and windmill arms trying to stay on two skates. I had a hard time staying on my feet while laughing so hard. At one point he did a full on superman slide will arms in front of him, legs extended, on his belly. It looked like he was faking it because he slid so far across the ice! It was such a great time.

I love it when I have moments like that with Jas. They are the best. What a great day.
