So my sister, Becca started making ring slings for gifts. I asked her to make me one and then I got the bug and wanted to make one for myself. I have made pouch slings before and love them but decided to try the ring sling. The benefit of the ring sling is that it is adjustable so you can do more with it plus it is a one size fits all where as the pouch sling has to be fitted so that it is not too loose or too tight. I found this awesome fabric on Fabric.com and decided to order it. It's 54" wide so you can get two slings out of it. I made one for my friend in Colorado that is due with her fourth baby in a few weeks. It is awesome, as a lot of you know I wear Luke alot!! I have him in my sling at church all the time and then quite often around the house or out and about. It's so nice to be hands free and what baby doesn't love to be held? It's a great way to meet your babies needs, get things done, and save your back and arms from aching too terribly. And it's cute! As you can tell, I love slings!! If any of you are iterested in making one you can go to the Jan Andrea slings link on my blog, she has great instructions. They are really easy to make. I would love to help any of you if you want to make one!

I love that fabric you made your new sling out of, too. So, if I ever have another baby will you make ME one? :) Very trendy, you look so cute wearing it! Did you finish the book yet? I have the second one that isn't due back yet if you want it.

He is getting so big. The sling is awesome. Looks really comfortable.
