I just had to post this so I will remember it. So the other night Justin was at a meeting and the kids and I were going to watch a movie. After we got dinner cleaned up and pajamas on I was getting the movie ready and the kids were sitting in the window. The weather was windy and raining so there were these little birds jumping down into the window well. The kids were watching them go in and out. ~When you are in the basement sitting on the the couch you can see both the window in Janie's room as well as the one in the den. ~ So here I am sitting on the couch listening to the kids talk about the cute little birds and out of the corner of my eye I see our cat, Balto, run past Janies window but not past the other window. If you can imagine the look on Reids face when he turned around and asked me "DO CATS EAT BIRDS?" Ha ha ha ha it was so funny. I, of course, said yes cats eat birds, why did the cat just eat a bird. Reid says "The bird is in Baltos mouth and it just went down his throat!" It was so funny, he was watching this cute little bird hop out of the window well and next thing you know the cat is there and he is eating the bird. I wish I had a picture of Reids face, it was classic!

how funny...and sad. but I guess it is a part of life...the cycle of things.
Just don't tell Reid that you eat birds.
No do tell him you eat birds and make sure to have a camera handy so you can see his horrified face. Jk. That is a funny story. Poor little bird. I mean jeeze your cats eaten all the mice now it's starting on the birds. At least it isn't squirrels like at my house.
I love those little light-bulb moments. Priceless!! Thanks so much for all your time and help with T-ball. Shane had so much fun. We were talking last night, and Shane said, "Reids mom is the best coach!" I had to break the news to him, that you probably won't be his coach next year. Sad! Anyways, thanks a bunch!! You're awesome!
