Christmas Clothes

My husband was making the photos session painful, can you tell by my face? :)

I had to show the tulle detail on the back of the skirt
I love to make clothes for the kids at Christmas time. Usually vests for the boys and a skirt or something for Janie. My mom has made dresses for Janie the last couple of years and last year she made the vests for the boys as well. This year I bought fabric back in September to get a jump on things and then with getting my stuff ready for the holiday craft fair the fabric got stuck in the closet for a couple of months. I ended up making a really cute skirt and matching bolero jacket for Janie and there was plenty of fabric left over so I decided to make a skirt of me. I think it turned out cute and with a nice black blouse from the DI for $4 bucks I think the total for the outfit was around $15 dollars. Not too shabby. It was fun that Janie and I matched, a little silly, but fun. I was in a hurry before church because of choir stuff so I didn't get pictures of the kids and by the time we got home they were frazzled but I will try and get some this Sunday and post them so you can see the boys vests and Janie's outfit.
