Catch Up

I just unloaded my camera full of pictures from the past couple of months. I have been terrible at updating my blog to the point that I am starting to forget details about the events I took pictures of. I am going to try and get a start on catching up right now.
This year I was a commissioner for our pony-tail softball league which is Janie's age of girls, I also helped coach Janie's team. It can get a bit hectic when I am trying to keep score, keep the girls in line and then have three other kids to keep track of, all three of which are crazy boys!
At one of Janie's games the boys were busy playing around on some flatbed trailers or something, I'm not quite sure because I was busy coaching the team. Towards the end of the game I hear a scream and loud cry and new it was Luke. As he was walking toward me I could tell that his mouth was bleeding. On closer inspection I realized he put his tooth through his lip, luckily, not clear through but he had a pretty good sized hole in his bottom lip. He had fallen and hit something hard, obviously. So here I was trying to finish the game with a sobbing child on my hip. Justin was busy planting at the time so he wasn't at the game. We finished the game and got things loaded in the car and got Luke a few drinks of water which calmed him down a bit. On the way home Luke kept crying and told me he needed a bandaid for his lip. So here I am driving down the road trying to reach into the glove box to find my little first aid kit. I did so and handed the bandaid back to Luke and asked Janie to help Luke put on his bandaid. Luke was very adamant that he could do it himself. After a few minutes he calmed down and when I looked in my rear view mirror I saw Luke quietly sitting in his seat with a bandaid taped across his mouth. It was SO funny! I got a good laugh out of it and then took a few photos when we got home. Luckily his lip healed quickly and is fine now. My funny two year old!!
