The builderThe kids are so anxious to get started on the chicken coop so after spending part of the day rounding up supplies Justin told them that we could build the floor of the coop for family home evening. They had fun pounding nails but fought over whose turn it was with the hammer. The coop will be 6x8 feet in size with a decent sized chicken run when we are finished. More pictures to come.

You're so brave, my kids have been bugging me for chickens for so long! You'll have to let me know how it works....and I'll think about it....maybe! Good luck!
this just came to my mind when i saw this that you did this for FHE our theme for Primary and the song that they have been working on i know it is silly but I it looks like you had a fun night "buliding you family"
Wow! I'm so impressed! I don't even have a garden yet. Seriously though, who named the chicken breeds? Sex link and Aplesmagle or whatever it was? Hippies maybe? Can I just say again that I LOVE your house and your cake making skills? DROOL.
How fun!! Look how long Janie's hair is getting, and how ripped her arms are! Wow. Also, is that snow in the background? Could you send some this way please?
Love you!
Just to clarify, I was calling whoever NAMED the chickens hippies. I would hate to see what their kids are named.
That's awesome that you're getting chickens!!! We really need to come up and visit you guys. Or you guys need to come to Idaho Falls, and lets go on a date. Call me when you come here next! I'd love to see your family again. They are growing up!! We will be coming up the fourth of July. All of my family will be here again, and we are baptizing Takota in the Stake Center in Driggs on the 3rd-to make it easier on all of my family.
By the way, Happy "Late" 30th birthday!!! I don't think it's as hard as people say turning 30. Your birthday is around mine right? In March?
