Checking the stockings!
Luke's not afraid of any bear!Well, we had a wonderful Christmas as I hope you all did. It was pretty quiet. We had a nice family dinner on Wednesday evening with prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, and of course sparkling grape juice. We usually read the Christmas story but watched the nativity dvd the church put out for FHE on Monday. So Wednesday, by the time dinner was done we got the kids ready for bed and then I spent half the night wrapping presents that I hadn't done any of up until that point. Before the kids went to bed we told them they couldn't get up until it was light enough outside to see the neighbors house. At about 2:45am I hear footsteps coming up the stairs and they weren't Santa's! Janie and Reid thought it was light enough outside and it was time for presents. We made them go back to sleep, our bedroom floor and after about half an hour of telling them to be quiet and go to sleep they finally did. We all got up around 8:00am and went downstairs to open presents. It was a wonderful day and very low key. It was a blizzard so it was nice to just hole up at home!

Sounds like you had a great Christmas, I am so glad. We miss you guys. Daven just saw the pic at the top of your kids (which is darling) and he said he wants to go back to Idaho and live by you guys. To be honest I do too!
