Window well catch!

Picture of pet salamander "Pockets" and the new owners!
The kids thought it would like some bugs for lunch....appetizing!
I have never seen one up close but on its sides it looks like it has some type of gills. Anyone know if that's what they are?

I still have a ton more pictures of our reunion to post but I had to post this today. The kids were outside playing with their cousin, Colter, and they found this salamander in the window well. Seriously!! Those things are a trap for so many things. We catch an endless supply of mice all summer long in there and they eventually die and something new takes it's place. There are a million spiders in them as well. We can list a number of things that have been trapped in there before, such as a weasle, a chipmunk, and a skunk. Now tell me..... how does this happen? I cannot figure it out but I'm sure the list will continue on as time goes by.

Now I don't dare go downstairs and look in our window wells! Yuck! Your kids are so cute and always up for an adventure! I just love them. I feel bad I didn't get a chance to talk to you much at the ward campout, I hope your family had fun. I know Kyler had a blast with Reid! And those are such GREAT family pictures at your reunion! You have a beautiful family. You and all your sisters are gorgeous!
