This was later in the day after it happened.
So many things happened during our reunion times that I want to post. So after we got back from Layton we were at my house for Mon, Tues, and Wed. before we left for our camping in Mackay. On Monday we were getting things ready for our camping trip so we were in and out of the house all day. At one point Jack wanted to get out Justins golf clubs and play with them. He was just out in the yard with a couple of the clubs. He came in after a while and I forgot that the clubs were still out in the yard. Not too long after Jack went back outside, I hadn't realized it until I heard him screaming. I thought he must be upset with my dad about something, which happens fairly often with Jacks temperament. Anyway, I made my way to the garage door to see what was wrong and there stood Jack with a HUGE purple lump on his head. I knew immediately that he had been smacked with a golf club. Poor Reid felt so bad, he had been practicing his golf swing with Grandpa before Jack came outside. Grandpa had gone back to packing the trailer and Jack happened to come out right as Reid was giving it his all. Needless to say, Jack was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had quite the bruise that lasted for more than a week and a half. It slowly moved from his forehead down to his eye. Looking back we are REALLY lucky it caught him where it did, if it would have been closer to his temple or lower in the face we could have had some MAJOR injuries!! So that was one of the exciting things that happened during our family visits. Quite the shiner huh!

Ouch!!!! I'm so glad Jack is okay and that it wasn't so much worse like you said! And look at his cute smile even with that big shiner!
OUCH!! Oh man - what a tough kid!
That is one awesome shiner to be proud of though!
Poor kiddo! Although, I have to say, in the picture he looks like the attention might just have made it worth the bonk. I love the 'fat boy' too! It was so great to see you guys. You're as hot as ever!
