Our Christmas Tree

So this year I decided to do something different with our Christmas tree decor. I can't afford to go out and buy all new decorations and why should I when we can make our own. I decided to have the kids help me and we made gingerbread men and stars out of cinnamon dough. Once they were dry the kids painted them with sparkle paint, we also did a cut-out of one of their hands as a memento. They turned out really cute and smell wonderful. We also made cute little sheep. Reid and Janie helped to wrap the yard around pieces of cardboard and then Janie also helped to glue on the faces and bells. It took some time to make all the ornaments but it was great, the kids loved it and we created memories that will last forever. Much better than just buying everything!
