Spiderman cake

We didn't have a friends party for Reid this year so I didn't really think about what kind of cake he wanted. That day, as I was baking the cake I asked him what type of cake he wanted. Spiderman was the answer so with Janie's help we came up with this. I made the web out of melted chocolate chips that I put in a sandwich bag and piped out onto wax paper in the shape I wanted and then chilled until it hardened. Then we frosted the cake, sprayed it with some red frosting spraypaint stuff and Janie came up with the brilliant idea of making a brick pattern on the cake before we put the web on. Not too bad for last minute ideas.

You are so creative. I love it! I'm going to have to steal your idea for Porter's cake because he really wants a spiderman one. Thanks for the idea!

Nice cake! I might have to steal your idea. Aiden LOVES Spiderman! So I think I'll be coming up there soon. We should get together! You know, I haven't even seen your new house yet. Crazy!
